PSF Job Titles (with responsibilities)

President

  • Plans the agenda for the PSF Leadership Team meetings
  • Leads each Team meeting, keeping the meetings to a 2 hour maximum unless the Team as a whole OKs a longer meeting.
  • Arranges for the meeting place for the monthly Team meetings
  • Notifies Team members of upcoming meetings
  • Sends agenda to Team members one week before meetings
  • Plans or delegates the planning of the Summer Leadership Training/Planning
  • Submits all necessary articles for the school weekly newsletter
  • Leads in creating the calendar for Leadership Team Meetings and PSF Representative meetings for the upcoming school year in cooperation with Administration
Serves as Co-Event Chairperson of all events/committees during the year.

Vice President

  • Takes the place of the President in his/her absence; assists with President’s responsibilities as needed
  • "Dreams" of new ways to develop fellowship among our school families
  • Researches what other parent groups accomplish for their parents and school
  • Writes a thank you note/tax receipt for PSF donations for events
Serves as Event Chairperson of at least one event/committee during the year.

HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR

  • Arranges for the refreshments for any PSF events
  • Sets up and cleans up refreshments at each event (with help of team/volunteers)
  • Gives necessary reimbursement information to Treasurer within one week of the purchase
Serves as Event Chairperson of at least one event/committee during the year.

SECRETARY

  • Takes minutes at all Leadership Team Meetings
  • E-mails all meeting minutes to Team members within one week after Team Meetings
  • Writes a thank you note to all parent volunteers for PSF fundraisers and Events
Serves as Event Chairperson of at least one event/committee during the year.

TREASURER

  • Maintains all financial records for PSF
  • Makes a monthly written financial report to the Leadership Team indicating monies earned by project and monies used by project
  • Provides all necessary paperwork to school accounting department within 15 days of a meeting or an event
Serves as Event Chairperson of at least one event/committee during the year.

PSF REPRESENTATIVE COORDINATOR

  • Communicates with classroom PSF Representatives in a bimonthly meeting: 
    • Spiritual encouragement 
    • Share upcoming PSF and school events 
    • Encourage fellowship between parents 
    • Coordinates parent involvement/volunteers for events
  • Send out an email to PSF Reps as needed, which they can forward to their classroom families
Serves as Event Chairperson of at least one event/committee during the year.

COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

  • Coordinate distribution of flyers, posters, banners etc. for each event
  • Submit articles to President for the Crossroads connection 3 weeks prior to event
Serves as Event Chairperson of at least one event/committee during the year.

*EVENT CHAIRPERSONS

  • Co-coordinator (with President) for a particular event
  • Point of contact for the PSF team and outside support
  • Manages the responsibilities of each team member to create a successful even
  • Schedules speakers and coordinates the program schedule for the event

SPIRITUAL OPPORTUNITIES / MOMS IN TOUCH COORDINATOR

  • Liaison between PSF and Moms-in-Touch
  • Informs parents Bible study opportunities
  • Organizes prayer opportunities for parents
  • Leads the Helping Hands ministry by:
    • Developing a system for finding out who might need meals 
    • Finding volunteers to prepare meals 
    • Organizing a schedule for meal preparation for a needy school family 
    • Arranging for delivery of the meals
  • Attends PSF team meetings when possible

ADMINISTRATIVE REPRESENTATIVE

  • Provides input from administration, and collaborates on vision and planning for PSF

PSF CLASSROOM REPRESENTATIVES (PS, ELEM., MS & HS)

  • Attends bimonthly communication meeting for PSF/School events
  • Shares information from PSF and from their teacher with their classroom families via email
  • Rallies volunteers within their class as needed

HOME SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVES

  • Attends bimonthly communication meeting for PSF/School events
  • Shares information from PSF with their families via email
  • Rallies volunteers as needed
